Agree and Disagree

Seldom do I agree with the opinions of Senator Russ Feingold of Wisconsin.  But yesterday I found myself in agreement with him when he commented on the bank regulation bill under consideration by the Senate:   “The test for this legislation is a simple one — whether it will prevent another financial crisis.” Feingold said in a statement. “As the bill stands, it fails that test.”(The Daily Caller).  But when one considers Feingold's reason for his statement, because the bill did not go far enough,  I found myself back in my usual position of disagreement with him.  The fact is the Senate bill is a farce, a costly farce but one nevertheless.  What we need is review and analysis of the regulations that have already failed us as we prepare to repeal them.  How about some real deregulation?
